Insta360 X3 is a 360-degree action camera made for the social media era. Millions of people around the world now see themselves as “creators,” and a 360 action camera can be a versatile tool for capturing creative and distinctive social media content. With an invisible selfie stick, selfie shots are possible without first recording in 360 and reframing later.
With a new 1/2-inch sensor and 2.29-inch touchscreen, Insta360 X3 is the most powerful camera you can carry in your pocket. Capture 5.7K 360 video with Active HDR and the Invisible Selfie Stick effect, or 72MP photos with unexpected detail.
X3 can also be used as a standard action camera with Single-Lens Mode, which has been upgraded to deliver a sharp, ultra-wide 4K image. For editing your footage, the Insta360 app is an AI powerhouse with intuitive reframing tools.

The new Insta360 X3 changes the way filmmakers approach the creative process. By first filming in 360 degrees and reframing later, a single video can be edited in endlessly different ways. You will always be able to capture your best moments, whether that means catching a big wave or landing a difficult trick. All you have to do is get up, record, and zoom in later in the Insta360 app.
The new Active HDR uses an innovative algorithm to stabilize action footage, minimize image ghosting, and reveal details that other action cameras miss in overexposed and underexposed areas.
X3 delivers the highest megapixel count ever in a 360 action camera, with 72MP photos for ultra-detailed images. It also captures 8K 360 time-lapses, perfect for cityscapes and landscapes. 360° Horizon Lock keeps the horizon level even when you rotate the camera completely.

Insta360 X3 is rugged and waterproof to 10 meters. Optional lens guards are also available for action sports creators who need even more protection.
Photos can also get a magical treatment with the new Photo Animator, which animates a still photo for you.
New Me Mode for Perfect Selfies
X3’s dual-lens design also enables effects such as Invisible Selfie Stick, which automatically removes the stick from footage and creates an impossible third-person view. With the new Me Mode, you can now capture invisible selfie footage at 60 fps without reframing. This mode frames the footage to keep the emphasis on you while the selfie stick remains invisible.
If you have a clear idea of your content and need only one point of view, Single-Lens Mode is very useful. This mode has now been upgraded to 4K resolution and is perfect for immersive first-person action footage, especially chest-mounted shots. A new, extremely wide 170° MaxView is also available at 2.7K for even more immersive POV footage.

Bullet Time, the Matrix-like slow-motion effect created by swinging the camera in a circle above your head, has also been improved in resolution and frame rates up to 4K 120 fps and 3K 180 fps.
