The Tamron 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III VXD G2 (model A063Z) is a fast standard zoom lens that combines compact dimensions and ease of use with strong optical performance for the latest high-resolution Nikon Z cameras.
The autofocus is powered by Tamron's VXD linear focusing mechanism, which ensures fast, precise and quiet operation.
The lens also excels at close-up photography, with a minimum focusing distance of just 18 centimeters at the wide-angle end and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.7—almost half life-size.

The design focuses on ease of use, with a durable coating on the housing to prevent scratches and a rubber focus ring for a comfortable and secure grip.
A pioneer in compact, fast standard zoom lenses for mirrorless cameras, Tamron brought the 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III VXD G2 to the growing community of enthusiastic full-frame Nikon Z users.
The fourth Nikon Z-mount lens
In 2022, Tamron introduced the 70-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD, the first lens for full-frame Nikon Z cameras. Designed for photographers of all levels, this telephoto zoom enabled high-quality telephoto and close-up shots.
The arrival of the professional and very bright Tamron 35-150mm F/2-2.8 Di III VXD was warmly received by many Nikon Z photographers when it arrived in the summer of 2023. It combines a fast aperture and high image quality with a highly practical zoom range.

For nature and bird photographers, Tamron launched another lens at the end of 2023: the compact, lightweight Tamron 150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD super-telephoto zoom.
The Tamron 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III VXD G2 improves on the EISA Award-winning 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III RXD (Model A036) for Sony E-mount.
