The Lensbaby Double Glass II Optic is a new and improved version of the original Double Glass Optic and one of the oldest and most popular lenses for the Lensbaby Optic Swap system.
The Lensbaby Double Glass II Optic now has a built-in aperture (f/2.5 - f/22), a full metal housing and increased image sharpness in the center of the frame, and is still suitable for all current and older Lensbaby Optic Swap lens bodies such as the Lensbaby Composer Pro II.

The bokeh can now be fully adjusted to your own creative wishes thanks to the 12-blade manually adjustable aperture and the unique drop-in magnetic "aperture discs" system. The Lensbaby Double Glass II Optic comes standard with nine special shaped drop-in magnetic aperture discs.
The set includes a five-pointed star, a heart and seven other artfully designed drop-in aperture discs created by visual artists in the Lensbaby community.
These discs change the out-of-focus areas of the image and add a distinctive texture to the image. Photos taken with these unique drop-in apertures produce points of light in the out-of-focus areas, namely the shape of the aperture disk.

When shooting at the largest aperture of f/2.5, the Double Glass II Optic creates a tiny sharp point with increasingly distant blur. These optics, combined with the specially shaped aperture discs, enable shots that cannot be achieved with any other lens.
At aperture f/4 or smaller, the Double Glass II Optic provides an increasingly large "sweet spot" of sharpness, so you can tailor this to the subject.
As a photographer, you have a wide range of optical effects. From impressionistic, with a lot blur, to a very large sweet spot of sharpness, with only a little bit of blur around it. All this is made possible by the built-in 12-blade aperture that is easy to adjust with the aperture ring on the front of the optic, in combination with the creatively shaped aperture discs.
