Harman Switch Azure is made for photographers who love to experiment. Expect your colours to ‘switch’: blue becomes orange, bright yellow turns vivid azure and red shifts towards purple-blue tones. Designed for standard C41 processing and lab scans
Despite its wild look, Switch Azure is easy to use and lab-friendly: it is compatible with standard C41 processing and available in both 35mm and 120 film formats.
Bear in mind that the scanner used after processing can have a major impact on the appearance of Azure negatives once digitised. Harman notes that widely used commercial lab scanners, such as Fuji and Noritsu models, can render the same negatives very differently, and provides recommended settings to improve standard scans on popular systems. Scanning with a flatbed scanner or a mirrorless camera generally produces a more neutral result.

Other creative Harman colour films
Alongside Switch Azure, Harman offers two other creative colour films in its range. Harman Phoenix II 200 is a completely redesigned, second-generation colour negative film in 35mm and 120 formats, created to deliver finer grain, sharper results, better contrast and greater exposure latitude, with noticeably improved scan results on commonly used lab scanners.
For a very different creative look, there is Harman Red 125: a DX-coded ISO 125 35mm redscale film that can be processed in standard C41 chemistry, transforming scenes into striking images dominated by reds, oranges and yellows, with a distinctive, high-contrast film character.
