The Fujifilm XF 30mm F2.8 R LM WR Macro is a prime macro lens with a 30mm focal length (equivalent to a 46mm angle of view in 35mm film format).
This lens has a considerably shorter minimum working distance than more conventional standard lenses. It can capture 1:1 macro images at a working distance of just 1.2 centimeters. Thanks to its large F2.8 aperture, it is also a highly versatile standard lens that can be used for many photographic subjects.

The XF 30mm F2.8 R LM WR Macro consists of 11 lens elements arranged in nine groups, including three aspherical elements and two ED elements. Its optical formula creates a compact design that is particularly well suited to macro photography.
To capture a 1:1 macro image, the distance from the sensor to the subject only needs to be 10 centimeters. Because cameras in the Fujifilm X Series use an APS-C sensor, a subject is rendered up to 1.5x larger than with a full-frame equivalent.
The lens uses an integrated internal focusing system in which a linear motor drives the focusing group, providing very fast and highly accurate autofocus. Focusing is quiet and smooth, even when taking close-up shots that require substantial movement of the focusing elements.

The lens is also small and compact, weighing just 195 grams. This versatility makes it suitable for anyone to use at any moment and in a wide variety of photographic situations.
Above all, the compact design means that the lens fits easily into any camera bag or can remain on the camera as a standard lens.
