The Photographers’ Café at Woerden Castle presented a varied program for photography enthusiasts.
14:30–17:00 FCKW College: Street photography with Michiel van Mens, part II.
At 19:30 the evening Fotoplaza program began with Jasmine van Dort.
Jasmijn van Dort was 22, a fashion photographer and adventurer. Since 2018, she had developed her distinctive style while traveling through Europe in her camper van. Her passion for fashion and portrait photography inspired others. She graduated in May 2024 and was embarking on new adventures.

The main guest was photographer Eddy van WesselAfter several years, Eddy returned to the café to discuss his recent work in Ukraine.
He has specialized in documenting conflicts and disasters worldwide, with publications in renowned magazines such as Stern, Paris Match and The Washington Post Magazine.
His work is characterized by a focus on the human aspect of conflict, telling the stories of those directly affected by war.
His work from Ukraine can be seen until mid-May in the National Military Museum in Soesterberg, under the title War Stories. Ukraine up closeA documentary titled Eddy’s Oorlog, in which filmmaker Joost van der Valk followed Van Wessel during his work on the front lines in Ukraine.
The evening was from 21:15 concluded with portfolio reviews by three professional photographers, and De Lange Tafel.
The reviewers had many years of experience in photography and as coaches and mentors. Their advice offered practical guidance for getting more from their photographic work.
