The graduation work of new photography talent is exhibited. More than thirty students from the Amsterdam Photo Academy present their creations in Loods 6.
This versatile exhibition, which takes place during the Pentecost weekend in Amsterdam, covers a wide range of photographic styles and techniques. Visitors can admire autonomous and documentary photography, as well as photo art hanging on the walls and innovative video installations.
The diversity of the works on display shows a wealth of talent and creativity among the graduating students of the Photo Academy.
Ruud de Jong, artistic director and teacher at the academy: "The students are now working on the final steps before graduation. For them, passing the exam means the start of a career as a professional image maker. The exhibition is therefore entitled Emergo which is Latin for 'to emerge'. And with so much photography talent in one room, I invite everyone to come and take a look.”
On May 24, 2023, the 33 students of the Photo Academy in Amsterdam will graduate. All graduation works will then be unveiled during the graduation exhibition, from May 25 to 28 in Loods 6 in Amsterdam.
