Photographing in the wild
In the wooded hills of the German Eifel you will find endless inspiration for photography. Join us from November 6 to 9, 2023 at the Waldecken10 country house for the 3-day workshop Photographing in the wild.
An all-inclusive creative mini-vacation with photography workshops from nature photographer Arie van den Hout. There is plenty of time for relaxation with good food, building fires and relaxing in the hot tub or sauna.
The afternoon sun hangs above the autumn forests, while the red kite circles above the valley in search of prey. Just a three-hour drive from Utrecht, the Eifel offers a unique landscape where you can walk endlessly and where wildlife still has plenty of space.
Nature photographer Arie van den Hout will take you along for three days and teach you the intricacies of photographing landscapes, plants and wild animals.
35 years as a nature photographer
Arie van den Hout has 35 years of experience as a nature photographer and works for the Goois Nature Reserve, among others. He has also been giving successful workshops and master classes for years. He knows better than anyone how to capture wild nature in a compelling image.
During these three days he will hold five workshops, ranging from photographic observation, early bird sessions, wildlife photography and post-processing.
Home base: a romantic country house
The workshop will be held in Waldecken10, a country house in the village of Neuheilenbach. The house has a beautiful view over a valley and hills and offers more than enough space in and around the house. There are seven bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fire pit, a hot tub and sauna and a wonderfully large living space of 100 m2.
The workshop is all inclusive: breakfast, lunch, dinners, beds and fires, everything is taken care of.
Costs
The all-inclusive workshop costs €795 for a double room and €895 for a single room. There is room for 9 people.
