The Tamron 25-200mm F/2.8-5.6 Di III VXD G2 (Model A075), an all-in-one zoom lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras with a Sony E-mount, is the successor to the 28-200mm F/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD (Model A071) lens. It was redesigned as an advanced second-generation “G2” model. With this lens, Tamron celebrated its 75th anniversary as a pioneer in modern all-in-one zoom lenses.
The new G2 model retains its compact size but expands the wide-angle range from 28mm to 25mm while maintaining the fast F2.8 aperture and a 200mm telephoto end.

The lens offers improved image quality and faster, more accurate autofocus thanks to Tamron’s VXD linear focus motor. With a maximum magnification ratio of 1:1,9 at the 25mm position, it also supports half life-size macro photography.
