Sony ZV-E10 II Camera and E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II Lens

Sony’s new ZV-E10 II camera and matching E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II lens are designed especially for content creators. The camera retains popular ZV-E10 features such as Creative Looks, Product Showcase Setting, Background Defocus, and the vari-angle screen while adding greater refinement and ease of use.

Compared with its predecessor, the ZV-E10 II has upgraded internal hardware, including a 26-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor and Sony’s latest BIONZ XR image processor. The model also offers improved autofocus, Cinematic Vlog video features, and a new vertical user interface.

The upgraded Sony Z battery provides longer operating time, while improved connectivity simplifies livestreaming and data transfer. Compact and lightweight at just 377 grams, the camera sits comfortably in the hand.

Images can be adjusted directly by choosing from ten Creative Lookoptions: Standard (ST), Portrait (PT), Neutral (NT), Vivid (VV), Vivid 2 (VV2), Film (FL), Instant (IN), Soft High-key (SH), Black & White (BW), and Sepia (SE). Each look can be customized using eight parameters, and six personalized styles can be saved in the camera.

The ZV-E10 II also lets creators produce high-quality cinematic video at the touch of a button with the Cinematic Vlogsetting. This feature automatically sets the aspect ratio, frame rate, and autofocus transition speed for cinematic recording. Users can choose from five Looks, including S-Cinetone for enhanced skin tones, or one of four Moods that can make specific colors stand out.

The ZV-E10 II uses 759-point phase-detection autofocus with real-time Eye AF for people, animals, and birds. Its Exmor R CMOS sensor provides high sensitivity and low noise across an ISO range of 100 to 32000. More than 70 Sony APS-C lenses can be attached via Sony’s E-mount.

Thanks to 5.6K oversampling, the camera records 4K video at up to 60p. Image stabilization using a precision gyroscope provides effective stabilization, even during 4K recording. The upgraded Z battery (NP-FZ100) supports continuous video recording for up to 195 minutes.

Additional Features

• A new vertical user interface automatically rotates between horizontal and vertical orientations to streamline vertical content creation. Together with the vari-angle LCD screen, it lets creators make and review content from any angle.
• S&Q mode with 5x slow motion: record 4K 60p-120p footage in clear XAVC-S Full HD quality.
• Product Showcase Setting makes it easy to record product-review videos with smooth focus transitions from the presenter’s face to the product.
• A Bokeh button adjusts depth of field with one press to create a blurred background.
• Face Priority Auto Exposure detects faces and adjusts exposure to optimize brightness, even while recording in changing light.
• Soft Skin Effect smooths skin and reduces the appearance of blemishes.
• A USB 3.2 Type-C port (SuperSpeed USB 5 Gbps) provides connectivity and fast wired transfer to a compatible smartphone or laptop through the Creators App.
