The latest addition to Sony’s range of full-frame α (Alpha) E-mount lenses is the FE 16-25mm F2.8 G. This wide-angle zoom offers a maximum F2.8 aperture throughout its zoom range and combines excellent image quality with a compact, lightweight design.
The FE 16-25mm F2.8 G has the same filter diameter and controls, and approximately the same size and weight, as the FE 24-50mm F2.8 G which was announced in February 2024.
This lens is also easy to use for hand-held shooting or in combination with a gimbal. The FE 16-25mm F2.8 G expands creative possibilities for photographers and filmmakers across genres including astrophotography, landscapes, architecture, portraits and everyday snapshots.
