The Hasselblad XCD 2.5/25V features a high-quality optical design with thirteen elements in ten groups, including four aspherical elements and three ED elements.

Optimized for 100-megapixel cameras, this design delivers clear, sharp images from the center to the edges while effectively reducing chromatic aberration.

The compact lens delivers excellent resolution and color accuracy, and its wide aperture provides strong performance in a range of lighting conditions.

With a minimum focusing distance of just 25 cm and a maximum magnification of 1:5.8, the lens is ideal for capturing detailed subjects such as gourmet dishes and flowers.

The wide-angle perspective offers compositional flexibility, while the wide aperture helps emphasize the subject and enhances the image’s visual impact.

The lens combines style and functionality in a metal body with subtly engraved “V” and “H” logos. Its focus ring switches effortlessly between autofocus and manual focus, while scale markings on the lens provide direct control over focusing.

The Hasselblad XCD 2.5/25V achieves fast, smooth autofocus through a linear stepping motor and compact focusing lens group, which work together to provide precise, rapid movement during focusing.

The lens has a large-diameter leaf shutter that supports shutter speeds up to 1/4000 s. Photographers can synchronize flash at every camera shutter speed, a significant advantage for flash photography.

In bright daylight, for example, flash can be used to darken the surroundings, illuminate the subject, and freeze motion sharply.
