The Fujifilm X-T5 is a digital mirrorless camera that combines analog-style controls with a 40.2-megapixel back-illuminated sensor.
Combined with the fast X-Processor 5 image processor, this X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor produces highly detailed images with rich color, supported by Fujifilm’s distinctive color-reproduction technology.
This fifth-generation system camera is not only equipped with a very high-resolution APS-C sensor, but also has an internal image stabilization system (IBIS) that can compensate for vibrations over five different axes by up to 7 stops.
All this packed in a housing that is even smaller and lighter than the previous model. In addition, the X-T5 has better image quality with higher resolution. The default sensitivity of the sensor now starts from ISO 125.
Furthermore, the camera has an electronic shutter whose fastest shutter speed is only 1/180,000th of a second.
Other new features of the Fujifilm X-T5 include an autofocus system that uses deep-learning technology to recognize subjects such as animals and birds.
The camera is also equipped with an AI-based automatic white balance option. This means users of the X-T5 can rely on a camera that will provide them with the highest possible image quality.
In appearance, the camera resembles the other cameras from the X-T series. The X-T5 also has a centralized electronic viewfinder and is equipped with all the necessary and well-known control buttons for setting ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation.
The touchscreen on the back of the camera has a resolution of no less than 1.84 million pixels. Furthermore, the LCD screen can be unfolded in three different directions. This makes taking photos from the hip or in a vertical position easier and more pleasant than before.
These options are packed in a housing that weighs only 557 grams. This makes the X-T5 lighter and more compact than the previous model. Thanks to its light weight and compact size, it easily fits into almost any camera bag.

The new Fujifilm X-T5 is available for a recommended retail price of € 1,999.
