Both cameras feature Touch and Drag AF, while the EOS R7 is the first EOS R System camera to combine an AF multi-controller with a control wheel. This allows users to select an AF point and quickly adjust settings or review images with a single thumb movement or turn of the dial.
The EOS R7 offers a fastest mechanical shutter speed of 1/8000 second and an electronic shutter speed of 1/16000 second, helping freeze fast-moving subjects.
