Alan Schaller studied music and initially worked in film and television, while also performing on stage. He discovered photography as a hobby that helped clear his mind. His work has appeared in publications including The Guardian, the Financial Times, The New York Times, The Independent, The Washington Post and the Evening Standard. Alan Schaller is a Leica Ambassador. Together with Walter Rothwell, he founded Street Photography International (SPi), the largest street-photography collective, which has amassed more than 1.7 million followers on Instagram.
