Evening program
The evening begins at 19.30 hours, with Fotoplaza as the opening act.
20.00 hours: The featured guest is Stacci Samidin
Raw honesty, radicalism, and the unknown form the foundation of Samidin’s work, titled Societies. At its core is the act of seeing, hearing, and accepting a person without prejudice or judgment. He documents the lives of minorities, oppressed people, and those with unconventional lifestyles around the world.

Among other honors, Societies received the International Ronald MacDonald Lifetime Achievement Award (2020) and the Grand Jury Prize of De Kracht van Rotterdam (2016). The vision and technique behind Societies extend to every other area of Samidin’s work: commercial photography, teaching masterclasses, and directing music videos and documentaries.
One of Samidin’s works was recently included in the Gallery of Honor of Dutch Photography (2021) at the Nederlands Fotomuseum
The evening concludes from 21.15 hours with portfolio reviews by four professional photographers and De Lange Tafel.

The reviewers have many years of experience in the world of photography and extensive experience as coaches and mentors. Their advice will give you practical guidance for getting even more from your photographic work.
