Bird Photographer of the Year invites photographers worldwide to enter its twelfth edition. Categories range from portraits and birds in flight to behaviour, urban birds and conservation. Separate awards recognise portfolios and conservation stories. The winners will be announced in September 2027.
Adults enter using paid credits, while the youth competition is free. Participants register through the official entry portal and can update their submissions until the deadline. Consult the competition rules for eligibility, technical requirements and ethical standards.
