A new art gallery recently opened in Hilversum: Art Villa Gooi. The exclusive gallery is located in a monumental, elegant office villa from 1903 and mainly represents Dutch contemporary artists. The first exhibition Winter Extravaganza is showing a wide and colorful selection of photography, paintings, sculptures, wall works, costume objects and glass art until February 25, 2024.
Art photographer Gert Kist (Amsterdam, 1963) is the initiator and gallery owner of Art Villa Gooi. In the gallery he also presents his own work. With a great passion for creativity and a keen eye for detail and aesthetics, the visual artist creates intriguing and painterly portraits, flower still lifes and 'New Classics'.

His layered and autonomous work is included in the collections of a large number of private art collectors.
With the opening, the Gooi has gained a stylish gallery. Art Villa Gooi is centrally located in the media and architecture city of Hilversum. The spacious, modern and sleek exhibition space provides an inspiring and attractive backdrop for the presentation of contemporary art; especially with the high walls.
The multifunctional location also offers opportunities for organizing cultural events.

At the exhibition Winter Extravaganza recent works by ten established artists are on display: Gert Kist (photography), Samira el Bali (abstract paintings), Magda Meijer (ceramic sculptures), Petra Dorst (bronze sculptures), Joris Verdonkschot (bronze sculptures), Lothar Vigelandzoon (bronze sculptures), Marlies Geldof (mixed media objects), Carina Wagenaar (medallions), Rien Bekkers (costume objects) and Fons Uytdehaag (glass art).
