The winners of Hasselblad Masters 2023 were announced. The 2023 categories included Landscape, Architecture, Portrait, Art, Street and Project//21. This competition invited both established industry names and emerging talents, and also gave young photographers under the age of 21 the opportunity to showcase their work. This edition now also includes a Dutch and Belgian winner.
Each winner receives the coveted title Hasselblad Master and received their own Hasselblad 100-megapixel mirrorless medium format camera, two XCD series lenses and an extensive creative fund of EUR 5,000.
In addition, they also received the opportunity to participate in a special collaborative project with Hasselblad, with the icing on the cake being a publication in the exclusive Hasselblad Masters commemorative book and on all Hasselblad digital channels.
In December 2023, the biennial competition opened its doors to an unprecedented number of no fewer than 85,000 entries from photographers from all over the world. This represents an increase of 35% compared to the 2021 edition.
The Hasselblad Masters Awards is a biennial prestigious professional photography competition. It gives well-known professionals and promising newcomers a chance to make a name for themselves in the world of photography. The winners are determined by the combination of a public vote and a professional jury consisting of internationally renowned photographers and image experts.
