The new Samsung PRO Plus and EVO Plus microSD and SD cards are designed for a wide range of uses. Their high read and write speeds and strong reliability serve professional and enthusiast photographers, videographers, and content creators alike.
They work with a variety of devices, including DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, compact cameras, camcorders, and PCs, making them suitable for processing high-quality photo and video content.
The PRO Plus microSD and SD cards offer read and write speeds of up to 160 megabytes per second (MB/s) and 120 MB/s, respectively. That makes them well suited to capturing 4K UHD and FHD content and providing smooth playback while editing video. The Samsung EVO Plus cards are 1.3 times faster than the previous generation and reach speeds of 130 MB/s.
Both PRO Plus and EVO Plus SD cards provide seven-proof protection against shock, water, extreme temperatures, X-rays, wear, drops, and magnetic fields. The new SD cards carry a V30 video speed class rating.
The SD cards are available in capacities from 32 GB to 256 GB, with an additional 512 GB option for the PRO Plus line. With half a terabyte of storage, the cards provide more than enough capacity for 360-degree panoramic photos and hours of 4K UHD content.
The cards come with a standard 10-year warranty. At launch, suggested retail prices ranged from €10.99 for the 32 GB EVO Plus to €139.99 for the 512 GB PRO Plus.
