Peak Design Pro, Pro Lite, and Pro Tall Tripods

Peak Design Pro Tripods: Pro, Pro Lite, and Pro Tall

Peak Design is introducing its Pro tripods: Pro, Pro Lite, and Pro Tall. This professional tripod system was developed in collaboration with world-renowned photographer and filmmaker Jimmy Chin.

Based on the award-winning architecture of the original Travel Tripod, the Pro Series takes strength, height, and versatility to a new level without sacrificing the compact dimensions for which Peak Design tripods are known.

The Pro Tripod series meets the growing demands of modern creators, from seasoned professionals to passionate enthusiasts who expect top performance for both photography and video. Greater rigidity, built-in fluid panning, improved ergonomics, and an exceptionally compact packed length provide more stability without adding bulk.

The Peak Design Pro Tripod Lineup

All three models—Pro, Pro Lite, and Pro Tall—share the same CNC-machined aluminum construction, 3K carbon-fiber legs, and redesigned Peak Design Pro Ball Head. Each model is nevertheless tailored to specific needs.

The standard Pro offers an ideal balance of height, strength, and compactness, making it the most versatile model.

The Pro Lite is slightly smaller and lighter, making it ideal for creators seeking maximum mobility and easy travel without a significant loss of stability.

The Pro Tall is ideal for photographers and filmmakers who prefer a higher working position or use heavier rigs. It provides additional working height without requiring the center column to be extended far.

Turn the Pro Tripod Into a Video Tripod or Easily Swap Tripod Heads

The optional Peak Design Tilt Mod instantly converts any Pro model into a fluid pan-and-tilt video head with smooth resistance, a spring-loaded counterbalance, and an extendable handle for professional camera movements. The Tilt Mod attaches and detaches quickly, just like a camera. It is compact enough to fit in a lens compartment, making it ideal for hybrid photographers and filmmakers.

The Peak Design Pro Leveling Base also lets you level the head quickly and precisely without adjusting the tripod legs—especially useful on uneven ground. The module has an integrated bubble level and a 3/8-inch mounting platform, allowing you to use your own video head, gimbal, geared head, or another specialized system with ease.

Together, these two accessories turn the Peak Design Pro Tripod into a fully modular, future-ready tool for both photography and video. From commercial studio campaigns and behind-the-scenes content to mountain adventures, the Pro Series adapts to every situation.
