Peak Design expands camera straps with leather and cord variants. The new Peak Design Form series camera straps, improved Cuff wrist strap and the Field Plate quick release plate for tripods and cameras have been available since November 2025.
Peak Design Form Straps and Ropes
The new Peak Design Form Straps are designed with an eye for detail and built for everyday use. There are two versions: Form Leather Camera Strap and Form Rope Camera Strap. Both are available in four lengths: short (103.5 cm), neck (78.5 cm), standard (118.5 cm) and long (133.5 cm).
Both straps have an aluminum accessory loop (except for neck model), use the well-known Anchor Link system, and are fully compatible with all Peak Design products. They are designed with simplicity, durability and ease of use in mind.
Form Leather is made from high-quality full-grain leather with a smooth, stitch-free finish and a custom sealed underside that provides extra grip and comfort. This leather is designed to develop a beautiful, unique patina over time, without sacrificing durability.
It is gold-rated by the Leather Working Group, the highest level in responsible leather production. Available in Amber, Tan and Black, the straps make a stylish addition to modern camera equipment.
Form Rope is made of a specially developed nylon/poly mix with a refined, braided structure. The cord offers an excellent balance between strength and flexibility, and feels comfortable for extended wear. It can also be wrapped around the wrist for street photography, for example. The seamless transition to the Anchor housings provides a sleek, uniform appearance. Available in the colors Black, Kelp and Ocean, which fit well with various camera and clothing styles.
Renewed Cuff now also in leather and cord
The renewed Peak Design Cuff wrist strap is an elegant solution for those who want to wear their camera on the wrist.
The Cuff Leather is made from the same gold-rated full-grain leather as the Form, and has an automatic aluminum slip adjuster for extra safety. Available in the colors Amber, Tan and Black.
The Cuff rope is made of the recognizable Peak Design Rope material with color-matching details and a nylon slip adjuster with aluminum stopper. Available in Black, Kelp and Ocean.
Peak Design Field Plate for quick and easy installation
The new Peak Design Field Plate is a compact, universal tripod plate with a unique, foldable mounting screw. The screw rises at the touch of a button and turns into an ergonomic thumb lever, eliminating the need for a coin or Allen key. After use, the screw folds flat into the plate again.
The Field Plate is CNC-machined from aluminum, equipped with a rubber anti-slip layer that prevents twisting, and equipped with four integrated anchor loops. Fully compatible with Peak Design Tripods, Capture Clip v3, and most ARCA-Swiss compatibles tripod heads from other brands.
Prices and availability
The Peak Design Form, Cuff and Field Plate have been available since November 2025. The Form Leather Camera Strap is available in three colors (Amber, Black, Tan) and three lengths (Short, Standard and Long) for € 79.99. The Neck version of this leather variant is currently only available in Amber and costs € 69.99.
The Form Rope Camera Strap is available in the colors Black, Kelp and Ocean. The Short, Standard and Long variants cost € 49.99, while the Neck version in Black is available for € 44.99.
The Peak Design Cuff Leather wrist strap in Amber, Black and Tan has a suggested retail price of € 59.99. The Cuff Rope in Black, Kelp and Ocean costs € 39.99.
