Nikon Z DX 16-50mm f/2.8 VR and Z DX MC 35mm f/1.7

Nikon is expanding its Z series with two new DX lenses: the Nikon Z DX 16-50mm f/2.8 VR and the Nikon Z DX MC 35mm f/1.7. Both are designed for photographers seeking high image quality in a compact, lightweight package. They deliver sharp, high-resolution images, attractive bokeh, and strong low-light performance for both photography and video.

Nikon Z DX 16-50mm f/2.8 VR

The Z DX 16-50mm f/2.8 VR is the first Nikon Z-series DX zoom with a constant f/2.8 aperture. It balances speed, sharpness, and portability. With a focal-length range of 16–50mm (24–75mm full-frame equivalent), this lens is suitable for many situations, from portraits and street photography to landscapes and travel photography.

Powerful VR image stabilization of up to 5 stops lets you shoot sharp handheld images in low light. Quiet, fast autofocus also makes the lens highly suitable for video. At only 330 grams, it is an ideal all-rounder for anyone who wants quality without unnecessary weight.

Nikon Z DX MC 35mm f/1.7

The Z DX MC 35mm f/1.7 is Nikon’s first DX macro lens with a Z mount. With a maximum aperture of f/1.7 and a reproduction ratio of 0.67x, you can capture fine details with ease. It is ideal for macro work, product photography, and creative close-ups with natural depth of field.

The focal length of 35mm (50mm full-frame equivalent) also makes the lens suitable for everyday photography, travel and video. The minimum focusing distance of 16 cm offers additional freedom for close-ups, while the weight of only 220 grams provides excellent portability and handling.
