Think Tank offers three innovative product lines for photographers and videographers: the DarkLight Backpack Series, Airport Roller Derby V2.0, and Airport Navigator V2.0.
Think Tank DarkLight Backpack Series
The Think Tank DarkLight Backpack Series is designed for versatility and convenience, ideal for photographers exploring both urban and outdoor environments. The backpack combines thoughtful design with user-friendly features, keeping equipment safe and accessible in various conditions.
The MOLLE front panel and tactical webbing rails provide expansion options with additional pouches and accessories, inspired by military applications. Rear access ensures safety and ease of use, even in busy locations or in bad weather.
With an ergonomic Air-Mesh carrying system and adjustable lumbar support, the backpack provides lasting comfort. Inside, flexible dividers keep gear efficiently organized, while external straps accommodate tripods or water bottles. An integrated rain cover and an environmentally friendly, water-resistant coating help the bag withstand changing weather conditions.
The series was introduced in two sizes:
- 14L: suitable for a camera body, 1-3 additional lenses, and accessories.
- 20L: offers space for two camera bodies, multiple lenses, additional equipment, and a laptop up to 16".
Both models were announced in Montane Green and Black, feature removable hip belts, and meet international carry-on standards.
Airport Navigator V2.0
The Airport Navigator V2.0 is a compact rolling suitcase, ideal for event and wedding photographers. With dual access points, the case provides quick access to two camera bodies with lenses, including a 70-200mm f/2.8. Elastic straps ensure security, while a rain cover provides protection against bad weather.
The V2.0 has an 8-wheel system for 360° maneuverability, lockable zippers, a Travel Sentry ID plate, and padded compartments for laptops and tablets up to 16 inches. A telescoping handle and shoulder strap provide versatile carrying options for efficient gear transport.
Airport Roller Derby V2.0
For professionals carrying heavy equipment, the Airport Roller Derby V2.0 balances capacity and mobility. Its spacious interior holds two camera bodies with lenses, lenses up to 400mm f/2.8 when detached from the camera, 6–7 additional lenses, and other essential accessories.
Updates to this roller include a reinforced handle for greater durability, a slight incline for improved balance, and lockable zippers on the laptop compartment. Its 8-wheel configuration moves easily in any direction, while large rear wheels add stability on uneven surfaces.
Features such as replaceable wheels, internal mesh pockets, expandable side pockets and a TSA-approved lock make it an essential tool for the traveling photographer.
