The 75th edition of the Holland Festival opened the previous Friday at the Royal Theater Carré with Angélique Kidjo’s concert Mother Nature . The Holland Festival and Maria Austria had a long and close partnership.
For more than twenty-five years, Maria Austria was the festival’s resident photographer. She had a great love of the performing arts. Her eye for the world surrounding the theater was exceptional, and Austria’s work received so much regular publicity that she eventually became closely identified with the Holland Festival.
To mark this 75th anniversary, the Maria Austria Institute held a special print sale.*
The photographs were printed on 20 × 25 cm fine-art pigment paper, with an image size of approximately 19 × 19 cm, and carried an original stamp. Professional photo lab De Verbeelding handled printing and shipping.
The sale price was €125, including VAT and delivery within the Netherlands.
