How to Improve Dull Photos

If you notice that your photo is looking a bit pale or dull, there is a simple technique to make the image more vibrant: adjusting the contrast. You usually do this by increasing the contrast in Photoshop.
You can find the Contrast slider in the Basic panel. Moving it to the right increases contrast, making the dark areas of the photograph darker and the light areas lighter.
The result is not only a greater contrast in light and dark, but also colors that appear fuller and more vibrant. In addition, the human eye tends to perceive an image with higher contrast as sharper and clearer. This can make a big difference in how your photo is perceived.
