The lens builds on the updated design of Hasselblad’s XCD-series lenses, with a metal body and a focus ring subtly engraved with a Hasselblad H pattern.

The XCD 4/28P features a linear stepping motor and a lighter, smaller focusing lens group. When used with the X2D 100C’s PDAF technology, the focusing lens elements can reach the focus point quickly and stop precisely. This provides fast, accurate, and responsive focusing, helping you capture the scene as you press the shutter button.
Its carefully engineered construction gives the lens a compact form while delivering the performance needed to meet the resolution requirements of 100-megapixel sensors. It produces sharp, high-resolution images with precision from the center to the edges.
The lens’s small yet powerful leaf shutter supports flash synchronization at every shutter speed, including 1/4000 s. Use flash in bright sunlight to capture a dynamic interplay between subject and surroundings, emphasizing your subject while darkening the background.
