At age 60, Patricia Paay is the oldest woman in the world ever to be photographed for Playboy. It is international news. Starting today, she graces the cover and 17 pages of the Dutch edition of Playboy.
Paay herself, who previously posed twice for Playboy (in 1984 and 1996, both times for photographer Govert de Roos) says she wants to make a statement with the new series.
“Women my age can still look beautiful and sexy. That is what I wanted to show with this series.”
Jan Heemskerk, editor in chief of Playboy: “Patricia absolutely lives up to her claim. It has become a stunning and sizzling series. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to produce this remarkable feature.”

Efforts are being made to secure Patricia Paay a place in the Guinness Book of Records for this remarkable achievement.
The feature has already attracted international attention: The Sun (UK), Corriere della Sera and Rai Uno (Italy), among others, covered the Paay phenomenon.
