About the author
Tom Meerman (Amsterdam, 1959) has been photographing since 1977. His curiosity about photographic language led him to graduate as an independent visual artist in photography from ArtEZ in Arnhem in 1988. He has since spoken and written about the profession as a teacher, mentor and board member, and is a sought-after judge and picture editor. He also continues to work as a photographer.
