The DJI Air 3, a new addition to the Air series with dual primary cameras. The Air 3 is equipped with a wide-angle camera and a 3x medium telephoto camera.
With a wide-angle camera and a 3x medium telephoto camera, it allows users to get good composition in their shots. In addition, it offers a medium zoom distance for aerial photography. This all-round drone delivers very beautiful images and beautiful recordings with both cameras that capture 48MP photos and 4K/60fps HDR videos.
With a maximum flight time of 46 minutes, omnidirectional obstacle detection, O4 HD Video Transmission System and many other features, the Air 3 helps users make aerial photography even easier.

The DJI Air 3 is the first model in the Air series with a dual-primary camera system. It houses a 1/1.3-inch CMOS wide-angle camera and a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 3x medium telephoto camera in a compact space. The two cameras have the same sensor size but different zoom lengths, resulting in more consistent image quality.
With the wide-angle camera landscapes be captured even better. The camera has a pixel size of 2.4 μm, a format equivalent of 24 mm and an aperture of F1.7. The 3x medium telephoto camera has a pixel size of 2.4 µm, a format equivalent of 70 mm and an aperture of F2.8.
The 3x medium telephoto camera can achieve 3x optical zoom and also provides a powerful sense of spatial composition. This offers the opportunity for a unique perspective, presenting the user or anyone else as the subject of aerial photography. With people in the picture, aerial photography now offers more diverse possibilities.

Pilots can use the wide-angle camera's wide FOV to embrace the entire landscape. Additionally, they can switch to the 3x medium telephoto camera to capture the subject as a striking focal point, with the landscape in front and behind the subject seemingly within reach.
Both cameras offer 48MP photos, not only to deliver true-to-life detail, but also to support post-cropping for easy secondary composition.
Longer flying time, easy to charge
Compared to its predecessor in the Air series, the DJI Air 3 has a 48% longer maximum flight time, up to 46 minutes. This allows pilots to find the best position and adjust composition during a single flight with greater peace of mind.
The new battery charging hub has an energy accumulation function. Users can press and hold the function button to transfer the remaining power from multiple batteries to the battery with the highest remaining power.

This feature offers pilots the freedom and flexibility to make the most of their flight. For example, while hiking in the mountains or cycling in the forest, where charging options are limited.
Safe take-off and landing with Omnidirectional obstacle detection
The DJI Air 3 is the first drone in the Air series with omnidirectional obstacle detection. This feature enables comprehensive situational awareness, allowing the drone is able to detect obstacles in all directions. At the front and back, the drone is equipped with fisheye lenses for detecting obstacles in the forward, backward, left, right and upward directions. The bottom is equipped with binocular lenses and a 3D TOF, for powerful omnidirectional obstacle detection.
When an obstacle is detected, the DJI Air 3 can actively avoid and circumvent obstacles smoothly, resulting in uninterrupted recording for a greatly improved flying experience. Even beginners in aerial photography can fly with confidence and develop more creative ideas. The ActiveTrack function gives the pilot more freedom and works together with Advanced RTH to fly fully automatically and return to the starting point without any worries.

In single shot mode, the DJI Air 3 uses SmartPhoto 3.0 by default. It can automatically choose between HDR, hyperlight and scene recognition based on the scenario for better image results.
In HDR DNG format, the camera can record greater dynamic range with built-in contrast enhancement. The image file can reach JPG-level quality in post-processing software, making post-processing less effort.
