The Datacolor LightColor Meter simplifies exposure and color settings for photographers, videographers and cinematographers by providing accurate light and color readings. Real-time updates through the LightColor Meter app eliminate guesswork and help ensure consistent exposure across multiple cameras and changing lighting conditions.
The LightColor Meter measures all types of lighting with high precision, from changing outdoor conditions to studio setups, including flash and mixed artificial and natural light sources. Users can synchronize multiple meters to monitor different areas at the same time, saving time and improving accuracy in complex lighting situations.
In addition to color temperature, the meter measures Duv (green–magenta shift), allowing users to correct color deviations in LED, fluorescent and daylight sources. It also helps with balancing flash and ambient light to prevent unwanted color casts.
With up to fifteen warning alerts, the meter notifies users of changes in light intensity or color shifts. It helps establish accurate white balance from the start, reducing reliance on automatic white balance and providing greater creative control.
