The new LUCIA PRO II inks, already used in higher-end models, contain pigments that resist UV radiation and do not quickly
degrade. As a result, prints can remain lightfast for up to 200 years, making long-term archival storage possible.
When printing on glossy paper, wax added to the ink creates a smoother surface and makes prints highly resistant to abrasion. It also helps prevent scratches during post-print handling, such as framing and transportation.
When printing on glossy paper, transparent Chroma Optimiser ink suppresses reflected light and evens out gloss, allowing the original colors in photographs to be reproduced faithfully regardless of lighting, viewing angle, or other environmental conditions.
When printing on fine-art paper, high-density matte black ink produces deep, crisp blacks. The ink improves resistance to light and scratches while creating expressive prints that reproduce rich colors and subject textures.
