Canon EOS 6D Mark II: Versatile Full-Frame DSLR | Fotografie.nl

Canon introduced the EOS 6D Mark II today as the successor to the EOS 6D, equipped with the latest generation of Canon technologies.

As the successor to the Canon EOS 6D, the EOS 6D Mark II is a versatile full-frame DSLR camera for a wide range of applications, from travel to portrait photography. It features a new full-frame sensor, DIGIC 7 processor, 45-point AF system, and Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology. According to Canon, the EOS 6D Mark II’s new 26.2-megapixel CMOS sensor delivers a wide dynamic range.

The improved ISO 40,000 setting is expandable to ISO 102,400, while the camera’s 45-point AF system enables much more accurate subject tracking. The new AF system can continue tracking a subject even in very low light, making it ideal for portraits in fading light.

Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology also provides smooth focusing and shorter focus-acquisition times when recording video. These features are especially useful for macro and product photography and are supported by the Live View screen.

The EOS 6D Mark II was the first full-frame EOS camera with built-in 5-axis digital image stabilisation for video, correcting camera shake when recording handheld or on the move.

The vari-angle LCD touchscreen allows users to change focus with a tap and work from difficult angles when photographing from an unusual perspective or in a crowd.

The EOS 6D Mark II was the first Canon camera to feature both a 4K time-lapse video mode and an interval timer, offering greater creative freedom for video. The built-in interval timer gives users maximum flexibility when editing time-lapse videos.

The EOS 6D Mark II features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, giving users more flexibility when transferring images to smart devices.
