I have been photographing for over 30 years, and I truly enjoy it. The arrival of digital cameras and Photoshop opened up a whole new world for me. While nature photography is my preference, I am also interested in other subjects such as portraits and industrial photography.
I try to approach everyday things from a different perspective. I also regularly photograph weddings and never shy away from other challenges.

I try to approach everyday things from a different perspective.
Tilly Meijer is a photographer based in Spijkenisse who has been capturing images with passion for over thirty years. What began with a simple Practica SLR camera has grown into a broad photographic practice, with a primary focus on nature, animals, birds, macro, landscape, and architecture. She enjoys viewing everyday subjects from a different perspective, seeking detail, atmosphere, and wonder in her images. In addition to nature photography, she also photographs people, weddings, industry, and other subjects that challenge her perspective.
Travel plays a significant role in her photography: sometimes it is about a remarkable landscape, other times it is about that one specific bird spotted somewhere. Her work has been awarded both domestically and internationally, including at the Digital Camera Photographer of the Year and the Belgian nature photography competition Argus. She has also been nominated for National Geographic, and her photos have frequently appeared in photography and nature magazines. This combination of experience, curiosity, and the joy of observation makes her work both personal and versatile.
