Rogier Chang
I photograph people at work. For over 20 years, I have been creating corporate photography for organizations that want to showcase their work and their people authentically—from portraits to on-site reportage.
My clients range from SMEs to large organizations such as DHL, Heineken, Transavia, and FedEx. What they have in common is a desire for honest imagery that stands the test of time, whether for a website, an annual report, or a recruitment campaign.
I am VCA-certified, which means I am qualified to work on industrial and technical sites.
Based in The Hague. Working throughout the Netherlands.

About the photographer
Rogier Chang is a corporate photographer in The Hague and has been photographing people at work throughout the Netherlands since 2000. He studied photography at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and has since focused on corporate photography in its full breadth: employee portraits, workplace reportages and imagery for websites, annual reports, newsletters and image libraries. His clients are often companies and organizations where craftsmanship, technology, care or teamwork deserve to be seen.
His work is a strong fit for doers and makers, from construction, industry, technology, craft, logistics and shipbuilding to medical professionals and laboratories. Rogier looks for images that show who people really are and how an organization works, from the shop floor to the boardroom. His style is authentic and down-to-earth, with close attention to light, color and composition. No excessive retouching, no forced smiles and no overly polished look, but photography that feels honest and remains usable for a long time.
What characterizes Rogier is calm and genuine interest. Almost everyone finds posing uncomfortable, especially in their own workplace with colleagues nearby. That is why he usually starts by asking about the work before he begins photographing. He brings his own lighting and can work quickly on location without building a full studio. Because he is VCA-certified, he can also photograph on industrial sites when required. His documentary project Waarom doe jij wat jij doet? fits that approach well: looking with curiosity at people, their work and the motivations behind it.
