Send two photographers to the same location and they will return with completely different images. Good photography is not about what you look at, but what you see. And there is so much to see.
Even after more than 40 years as an independent photographer, I remain fascinated by light, form, structure and color. And by people, of course. On the move, sometimes waiting endlessly for that one perfect moment to capture.

Alongside commissioned work, I also enjoy making personal work. Landscapes, street scenes, everything I come across, everything that surprises me.
About the photographer
Stuur twee fotografen naar dezelfde locatie en ze komen met totaal verschillende beelden terug. Het gaat er bij goede fotografie namelijk niet om waar je naar kijkt maar om wat je ziet. En er valt zo ontzettend veel te zien!
Marco maakte tot 2023 commercieel werk in opdracht. Nu hoofdzakelijk bezig met vrij werk. Landschappen, straatbeelden, alles wat je tegenkomt, alles wat je verrast. Maar ook: stillevens, bewerken van opnamen van jaren, experimenteren met beeld. En dit presenteren aan publiek.
