I prefer photographing people, sometimes on the street but usually in a studio or at a location with distinctive features. For a photoshoot I usually take plenty of time, and the result is always the outcome of an artistic process involving close collaboration, communication and a kind of vibe I cannot fully explain. About the photographer
In the world we live in, everyone seems to be making photographs every day. Perhaps millions of them. And every now and then, one image stands out. A photograph that seems to stop time for a moment when you look at it.
Sometimes that is a lucky shot, but usually it is a photograph that has involved a great deal beforehand: preparation, dedication, professional effort, and sometimes trial and error too. But above all, it comes from a love for capturing the moment. That is what I do it for, and what I can lose myself in for hours at a time.
