Violette Cornelius Rediscovered
More than 200 works explore the varied career of photographer and resistance fighter Violette Cornelius, from architecture to international reportage.

The Nederlands Fotomuseum brings renewed attention to the work of Violette Cornelius (1919–1998). The exhibition features more than 200 works, including vintage prints, archival material and new prints.
Cornelius photographed architecture and everyday life, both in the Netherlands and on journeys to countries including Mali, Iraq and Peru. Research by curator Loes van Harrevelt also reveals long-overlooked parts of her photographic legacy.
