Saul Leiter: Cibachromes & Paintings

Gallery FIFTY ONE presents rare early cibachromes and paintings by Saul Leiter, from 5 September to 31 October in Antwerp.

Gallery FIFTY ONE in Antwerp presents Saul Leiter: Cibachromes & Paintings, an exhibition devoted to the work of Saul Leiter (1923-2013). The gallery brings together a selection of rare early cibachromes with a group of paintings.

Leiter is especially known for his feeling for colour, reflections and everyday urban moments. By showing the cibachromes alongside paintings, the exhibition also highlights his use of colour fields, composition and the image as quiet observation.
