Paris Photo explores the breadth of photography as an art form. Galleries and publishers present historical works, contemporary photography and new digital image-making practices. Alongside established names, the fair highlights emerging artists and the role of the photobook.
The 2026 edition also marks two hundred years of photography. Centre Pompidou presents a selection from its collection, while a route through the fair connects works from the nineteenth century to the present. At the entrance, Thomas Ruff presents a retrospective installation conceived as an open book about his experimental approach to images.
