Fotomuseum Den Haag presents Life, Love and Death in Sicily, a survey exhibition around Letizia Battaglia. From the 1970s onward, the photographer, activist and politician documented daily life in and around Palermo, in a society marked by the mafia.
The exhibition brings together her photojournalistic work and shows how Battaglia used her camera as an instrument in her fight against organised crime.
