Centre Photographique d’Île-de-France presents A Rose is a Rose is the Last Rose of Summer, the first solo exhibition by Isabelle Le Minh in the Île-de-France region.
The exhibition is part of the national programme marking 200 years of photography and takes a playful, conceptual look at the history of the medium. Le Minh uses the stories, objects, techniques and theories of photography as material for prints, installations and other works, including recent and previously unseen projects.
In works such as Raw Loop, Traumachromes and Feedback Loop, the economic, social and technical sides of photography come together, from the invisible labour behind the photo industry to Kodak, Pentacon, slides, screens and digital image data.
The exhibition runs from 4 October to 20 December 2026. The opening takes place on Saturday 3 October at 15:00. On 28 November there is an artist talk with Isabelle Le Minh and art historian Christian Joschke.
Opening hours: Wednesday to Friday 13:00–18:00; Saturday and Sunday 14:00–18:00. Check the current visitor information on the CPIF website before travelling.
