Courage of a Nation
Atrium Den Haag shows 56 photographs by Howard G. Buffett about the courage, resilience and determination of the Ukrainian people.
With 56 images, the photography exhibition Courage of a Nation depicts the courage, resilience and determination of the Ukrainian people. The photographs were made by Howard G. Buffett, photographer, philanthropist and chairman and CEO of the Howard G. Buffett Foundation.
The exhibition is curated by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Muhammed Muheisen, photographer and founder of the Dutch Everyday Refugees Foundation.
Ukraine in images
Courage of a Nation has previously been shown in Höxter, Brussels, Kyiv, Odesa, Gdańsk and Chicago, among other places. The exhibition also travels through Ukraine aboard specially converted exhibition train carriages.
From 18 July to 28 August 2026, the exhibition can be seen in the Netherlands for the first time, at Atrium Den Haag. Please note: the exhibition contains explicit images.
