A smartphone is the camera that is almost always within reach. Even people who own a dedicated camera may not have it ready when an important moment happens. Bouwe Taverne explores what a smartphone can capture and whether the results can go beyond a pleasing snapshot.
He discusses photographing on the move, in the dark and at a party, as well as printing, editing, storage and putting together photographic series. Taverne approaches these questions as a frequent user rather than an expert. Through numerous examples, he demonstrates the possibilities of the camera you always carry.
