Albert Dros – The art of landscape photography
Albert Dros shares the planning, creative process and vision behind his landscape photographs, with special attention to the Netherlands.

For its 90th anniversary, Fotokring Eemland welcomes landscape photographer Albert Dros, who was born in Amersfoort. His almost cinematic landscapes combine light, timing and technical precision. His work has appeared in National Geographic, TIME and Huffington Post, and he is a Sony Global Ambassador of Imaging.
Dros travels around the world for his photography, from volcanoes to ice floes, yet many of his favourite images are made in the Netherlands. His book The Beauty of the Netherlands and his award-winning series reveal unexpected ways of seeing familiar landscapes.
During this evening, he discusses his creative process, the preparation and planning of his photographs, and the vision behind his iconic images. The talk is aimed at anyone with an interest in nature and photography.
This talk is part of Fotokring Eemland’s 90th anniversary programme. Everyone with an interest in photography is welcome. Admission is free; advance registration with the organiser is required.
