Carmignac Gestion 2010 Photojournalism Award
17.6.2010-30.9.2010 | Carmignac Gestion, Paris | voorbijLike last year, an independent jury made up of photography specialists and leading reporters will select a project to support with a grant of 50,000 euros. The grant covers the realisation, promotion and dissemination of the report, as well as the acquisition by Carmignac Gestion of 4 photographs from the report. To give the work maximum visibility among a wide audience, an exhibition will be held within twelve months after the award is given and a book presenting the report will be printed.
The contest is open to all international professional photographers; only the topic is imposed. The balance of tomorrow’s world is being shaped today, particularly in regions of armed conflict. For this reason, the subject for the 2010 edition of the Carmignac Gestion Photojournalism Award is: Pashtunistan.
Participating photojournalists are completely free to decide how they want to treat the topic – in colour or black and white, silver or digital photography, from a social or cultural angle. They have 5 months to carry out their work on site. The jury will meet on 26 October 2010 to name this year’s award winner.

Nog tot 31 mei 2012 kan je deelnemen aan de International Filter Photo Contest 2011-2012. Deze fotowedstrijd, die gesponsord wordt door Kenko-Tokina, staat open voor elke foto die genomen is met een effectenfilter. (Deze filter mag van eender welk merk zijn overigens!)
